The Centre for Political Research.
The Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs creates and
implements Israel's foreign policy. The ministry looks after
the Centre for Political Research, which monitors the political
state of the Middle East.
The Centre’s purpose is to collect and analyze information
about political groups, members of the public political
attitudes, and rival governments that have a major interest in
the area. Research analysts and think tank specialists use
openly available sources, forums, blogs, search engines, as
well as intelligence information, to advise the Minister of
Foreign Affairs and the Prime Minister. The Centre for
Political Research also helps Israeli missions overseas, and
guides allied foreign intelligence services on Middle East and
surrounding area issues.
